Congratulations for your "thinking out of the box"! I'm not a Legacy player (I usually play Vintage) but I like to play Legacy for fun sometimes and I found the deck is pure fun to play. By your results, as I can see from your report, you proved us it's competitive too!

I just wanna ask you something about your choice of playing Ponder over Brainstorm / Preordain as a {U} cc deck manipulation spell. Why do you find the first one to be more performing?

Ponder digs deeper and gives you yet another shuffle affect to bury your tops.

The deck doesn't try to constantly maximize its hand quality so it doesn't need brainstorm. Instead the deck is always looking for one thing, whether that be mana, removal or dudes. But very rarely are you seeking multiple of those categories at once. Ponder is the best card for that role.

[card]trinket mage[/card] to reduce the copies of candelabra and sensei?
4x expedition maps is a Must, but the other cc1 artifacts coul'd be unesufull in multiple copies.

Academy Ruins doesn't get what you need the most, which is cloudposts and card smoothing.

Trinket Mage is far too late mana wise. By the time you have 3 lands in play you should have a clear plan of victory or a strong control hand. Trinket Mage helps neither of these.

it's good to change idea :-D

All things with moderation. =D

I'm currently testing less Trinket mages, with a few Ponders still.

Giving me 6 early filtering where I had 8 before, and pendulum swung to 4. Your idea was sound though. I'm glad it came from an Italian =D
